Age specific character development program
Children aged 4 years are in a very distinct growing stage.
Age specific games and exercises are used to develop children's physical and emotional skills.
We use the Martial arts approach to building their skills through these drills. The approach includes reinforcing good listening, self control, teamwork and focus.
Technical Martial Arts training is very limited when it comes to traditional moves and techniques. We reserve that portion of development for the older children who have set a clear foundation of what we consider the preliminary requirements to martial arts training.
Ninja's 5 & 6 yrs
Age specific character development program
Children between the ages of 5 & 6 years are in a unique growth period in their life. They are refined in their gross motor skills, while establishing a foundation in basic fundamental skills.
While building a strong foundation with physical skills we also build children's character through our character development program and merit badge system. Children progress through the belt system and strive to earn character building merit badges along the way. All our children are motivated to learn to earn and wear their badges with pride.
Warriors 7 - 9 yrs
Age specific character development program
Children between the ages of 7 - 9 years are in a unique growth period in their life. While they are more refined in their physical skills and self control, they are still developing intellectually,socially,emotionally and physically. Classes are designed to improve concentration levels and develop both courage and perserverance through challenging exercises and skills - to ensure they are equipped to face challenges and overcome obstacles. Courage & perserverance are skills for life.
